1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how the Signly Android application (“Signly”, “the app”, “we”, or “us”) handles information when you use it.
2. Documents and signatures
PDF documents, signatures, annotations and drafts are processed and stored locally on your device. Signly does not upload document contents, signatures or exported files to our servers. Files leave your device only when you choose to share or export them through another app or service.
3. Crash diagnostics
Signly uses Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to identify crashes and improve app stability. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may process technical information such as:
- Crash stack traces and diagnostic logs
- App version, device model and operating-system version
- Installation identifiers and crash-session identifiers
- Approximate timestamps and technical state associated with the crash
We do not intentionally include PDF contents, signatures or text entered into documents in Crashlytics reports. Crash information may be transmitted when your device has an internet connection. Google processes this information under its Firebase privacy and security terms.
4. Accounts and advertising
Signly does not require an account. The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. These services may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions and consent choices. They do not receive the contents of your PDFs, signatures or annotations. Google handles this information under its Privacy Policy.
5. Permissions
Signly uses Android’s system document picker to let you select files and save exports. Access is limited to files and locations you choose. Network access may be used for advertisements, consent messages and Crashlytics diagnostics.
6. Data retention
Local documents and drafts remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Retention for Crashlytics, AdMob and consent data is managed by Google according to its applicable policies.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited technical, consent and advertising data may be processed by Google to provide Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob and the User Messaging Platform. PDF contents, signatures and annotations are not shared with those services. If you use Android’s sharing tools, information is handled by the destination you select and is subject to that provider’s privacy policy.
8. Children’s privacy
Signly is a general productivity application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
Signly is designed to keep document processing on your device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should protect your device and use password protection for sensitive exported files.
10. Your choices
You can delete local documents and drafts through the app or Android system settings. Where required, the app provides consent choices for advertising through Google’s consent platform. Device-level privacy and advertising settings may provide additional controls.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Signly’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version.
